There has been some debate on whether elementor is the way to go when choosing a page builder, but I argue how can so many people be wrong?
Elementor is currently installed on over 5 million sites. It is the easiest page builder of its kind, but like anything else it has its pros and cons.
In our Elementor Pro Review, you learn all the reasons you might want to upgrade including price, ease of use, features, and support they offer.
In this article, I am going to give you my honest review of Elementor Pro, explain what I love about it and also include the negatives so you can make an informed decision.
Tired of the same old boring WordPress themes that just don’t meet all your requirements? Now you don’t have to compromise; you can build your own theme without writing a single line of code
Ease of Use
If you have been using the free version then Pro will be a breeze. If this is your first time, I must say that it is very intuitive.
Their drag and drop builder makes creating and designing your entire website extremely easy.
As far as page builders go Elementor is king!
Features
In the free version you receive a drag and drop editor, responsive editing, 40 basic widgets and 30 basic templates. When you upgrade to pro, you receive everything mentioned above plus everything below:
- 50+ More pro widgets (elements)
- Global colors and typography
- Custom fonts and icons
- 300+ Pro templates
- 10 Beautiful full website kits
- Theme builder
- Popup builder
- WooCommerce builder
- Support and updates for 1 year
- And much more…
In additional to everything you receive from pro plugin you also have the ability to install 3rd party add-ons which further extends what Elementor is capable of.
Update: New Yoast Integration
I’m excited to announce the new Yoast Elementor integration. Now you can optimize all of your pages on the front end using Yoast SEO plugin.
Elementor has by far the most 3rd party add-ons and integrations out of any other page builders out there!

Elementor Free Vs Pro
We’ve already established that Elementor is an amazing page builder, and although they offer a free version, it is limited to what it can do. Going pro will open up a whole new realm of possibilities.
Additional Features The Paid Version Offers
Going pro will give you access to the theme builder, popup builder, dynamic content widgets, WooCommerce widgets, and more; everything you need to customize every aspect of your site using their visual drag and drop editor.
Support
For technical issues they offer a troubleshooting guide. For questions about signing up to one of their pro plans, visit their FAQs page.
They have video and text tutorials that teach you how to use it and you can always submit a support ticket, but they ask that you review known bugs beforehand.
Check out our tutorials for this amazing page builder. There are only a few right now, but we will be creating more.
My Overall Support Experience
Once you submit a support ticket you will receive an email, and I admit I was a little confused on how to respond to the ticket because there was no link in the email.
I finally figured out that they handle their support via email, not a dedicated support desk like you think a company of that size would.
That being said they did respond to my request and help me solve the issue.
Price
They offer 3 plans; personal, plus, and expert and are as follows:

Overview
All in all this is a great plugin especially if you don’t know how to code. Although I mentioned above that elementor can slow your site down, there are many ways to combat this.

That being said with the release of version 3, it is faster than ever before.
